About Preet Collections
Preet Collections exclusive design collection combines flawless, classic design qualities with the latest trends in Indian films, soap operas, and high fashion using only the finest materials including, but not limited to, fresh water pearls, semi-precious stones, Austrian crystals, copper, and silver.
With over 200 pieces in our collection no two are identical-each piece has a timeless quality to it, crafted with exquisite detail and with a unique personality in mind. Most pieces are offered in sets that include choker-style necklaces and a pair of matching earrings. In some cases, we have coordinated tikka, bracelets, hairpins, and armbands to match your chosen set. The wide range of color combinations allows a woman to have a distinctive piece of wearable art to enhance any outfit, whether she is a bride-to-be or simply indulging herself to one of the timeless treasures.
Our primary goal at Preet Collections is to share our passion of ethnic jewelry with you in mind and to make your experience with us uniquely personal and enjoyable. Founder/Designer
Preet Talwar-Chief Designer and Creative Director
Born in Myanmar, Preet's designs have been greatly influenced by the ethnic cultures of the East. At the age of 16, Preet moved to Chicago where she decided to study at the collegiate level in the field of health care and graduated from University of Chicago with a degree in nursing. Her work experience as a health care provider cultivated a strong desire and a commitment to help the community and give care to individuals in need. During her spare time Preet decided to travel abroad--it only took one trip to a foreign country that started her love affair with ethnic culture and art. This love affair with traveling the world ignited the artist within. Within a few years, she had the opportunity to move to California where she turned this passion of art and culture into a business. In 2002, Preet became the Co-founder and Chief Designer of the successful company Khazana Weddings. In 2004, she had attended California State University Hayward and graduated with a certificate as a Professional Wedding Consultant.
In 2008, her love of art, culture and creative designs has evolved into a strong desire to help humanity through the birth of her new company, Preet Collections, where her vision and commitment are reflected through her work and her passion for helping the community.
"One of my favorite things about my career is that I get to work with the brides. I enjoy being part of their special occasion from the beginning till their special day. In addition, I provide them with a complimentary wedding consultation to help the brides understand the subtle nuances of wedding planning which varies greatly by ethnicity, culture, location, and budget. I get to know my clients on an individual basis, provide them with a relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience and best of all, I get to build a long-term relationship with every single client. The biggest reward I receive is seeing my customers satisfied with our products at the end of the day."
